Emmie Lo is a Latin teacher at Faith Christian School in Roanoke, Va. She holds a B.A. in Classical Languages and Literature from Davidson college, where she graduated magna cum laude and received the W. Kendrick Pritchett Award for Excellence in Classics.

Her academic work includes a senior capstone titled "Longing in Vergil’s Eclogues," which explores how the political upheaval of Vergil’s time shaped his poetic imagination. Emmie is also a co-author and co-editor of a forthcoming commentary on Ovid’s Ibis for high school students.

 In addition to her classical scholarship, Emmie writes poetry, fiction, and songs. She is deeply passionate about tea, books, and guiding students toward the true, the good, and the beautiful.

Tutoring is offered for student 5th grade and up in Latin, Literature or Writing.
