Holly Sanford
Holly is the founder of Big Room Education, an innovative educational company rooted in Charlotte Mason-style learning. A homeschooling mother and entrepreneur, Holly also leads a mental health case management company in North Florida, serving individuals who are often marginalized or overlooked within traditional healthcare and social service systems.
In addition to her clinical work, Holly teaches classes on mental health and speaks at conferences and staff training events on topics related to case management theory and practice.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University and is a certified provider of the Safe and Sound Protocol. At her local homeschool co-op, Holly teaches Anatomy, Biology, and—yes—Shakespeare, weaving together science and story in ways that inspire curiosity and connection.
Her interdisciplinary approach has given rise to several original curricula, including Stories from Medicine, The Art of Life, the Living Shakespeare Series, and Golden Hours—each designed to cultivate wonder, knowing, and the science of relations with the world.
Emmie Lo
Emmie Lo is a Latin teacher at Faith Christian School in Roanoke, Va. She holds a B.A. in Classical Languages and Literature from Davidson college, where she graduated magna cum laude and received the W. Kendrick Pritchett Award for Excellence in Classics.
Her academic work includes a senior capstone titled "Longing in Vergil’s Eclogues," which explores how the political upheaval of Vergil’s time shaped his poetic imagination. Emmie is also a co-author and co-editor of a forthcoming commentary on Ovid’s Ibis for high school students.
In addition to her classical scholarship, Emmie writes poetry, fiction, and songs. She is deeply passionate about tea, books, and guiding students toward the true, the good, and the beautiful.
Harrison Dinsbeer
Harrison Dinsbeer holds a bachelor’s degree in Classics from Davidson College, where he advanced his lifelong interest for language, logic, and literary nuance. Currently pursuing a master’s in Applied Linguistics, Harrison brings both academic rigor and practical insight to his teaching. With a personal score of 800 on the verbal section of the SAT, he specializes in helping students master vocabulary, reading comprehension, and critical reasoning. His tutoring style blends clarity, strategy, relationship, and encouragement. He can offer instruction in multiple foreign languages, SAT verbal test prep, as well as Greek and Latin. Harrison currently serves and a youth minister at Church of the Holy Spirit in Roanoke, VA.
